Hey hey! I'm Amy, and I feel quite special that you saw my page and/or watched a video.

Here's what I really want you to know first: We live in a dying world - hundreds of thousands of people dying every day, every minute even, of preventable diseases, poverty, and injustice - and we have the medicine. For instance, in Africa alone, $7 will give 7 Africans clean water for an entire year. Compare that with what we spend on a bottle of water here in the States, and perspective changes. More than that, people are being used and abused. Children are stolen by rebel paramilitary groups and forced to kill brothers or are used as sex slaves. Orphans are dying of malaria and AIDS when life-saving treatment costs us two trips to Starbucks. Think about it. Think about them. And then put yourself into the story, and do something.
