Ving Tsun kung fu vs karate blue belt. "Arashi Do Open Martial arts challenge- may 9 / 09"
beginner VT fighter in a point sparring match....or 'game of tag' as it should be called. I did not try to play the game of tag and go for lame taps. You could score by throwing a punch/kick and get a point if it came close but didnt make contact, or even for throwing weak maneuvers that would not have effect in a fight..... As you see, he gets a point almost every time we clash yet my fist repeatedly gets blocked by his face........didnt do too bad for my very first match. We were the only Kung fu guys in the sparring tourny and we did not train for it, the guys we sparred held and train for this event. Respect goes to my opponent...he won
I love Ving Tsun Im excited for more training

Well, I finally got all the little nicks and crannies that I need to get in the Mook Yan Jong from my Sifu and it feels pretty good. Of course, like all Wing Chun practitioners, I still need further work with the fluidity of the form, etc...but I'm pleased, my sifu is pleased and I'm on the way...I repeat, I am not there yet, but I'm on the way. Thanks so much sifu!!! God bless
