Influences: Mei Han (gu zheng virtuoso from Vancouver BC, Canada), Björk, Amon Tobin, Squarepusher, Portishead, Everything But The Girl, film scores, baroque and other classical forms of music especially the impressionists, avant garde, other world music, electronica including DUB-step and jungle, opera, various singers including Faye Wong and what ever happens to capture my heart at the time.
Sounds Like: Japanese dramatic anime film scores ex: Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away. Ambient, meditative and classical at times. Will have more videos up in the near future containing many of my collaborations with other musical forms. The gu zheng is a very versatile instrument and extremely expressive when working with and learning with other instruments.
