Look. This is not our solution to commuting. It is a social commentary. We designed this experience for commuters to break them out of their habits of regular thinking, to pose the question, what happens when commuting becomes less convenient and less reliable? If even for just 30 minutes?
We didn't ruin anyones day, or cause a massive traffic jam, we limited our time on the freeway to make our statement, and then get off the road. Those of you who are making the negative comments, we ask you, what are the alternatives to commuting?
If you have to get to work, and you can't take a train or bus, do you have any option but to drive? No.
This video is meant to stir the pot, and to incite some anger, which has done, now lets talk about how we can work together. Because if the behavior of our culture doesn't change soon, one day we will run out of fossil fuels, and then a 30 minute disruption will seem like a walk in the park.
