National Insurance Corporation

The National Insurance Corporation came into existence by an Act of Parliament passed in 1979 and revised in 2000 (No. 18 of 2000). The main objective of the organization is to provide social protection to the people of St. Lucia. This has been achieved through the collection of contributions and other income, and the payment of various benefits in the event of sickness, invalidity, maternity, hospitalization, survivorship, retirement, injury and death.
