NerdFighters International is an extension of the Brotherhood 2.0 project, in which two brothers, Hank and John Green could not textually communicate for an entire year. Rather, they communicated via public Vlogs. A year later, the brothers and thousands of fellow secret siblings and nerdfighters were closer together.

Brotherhood 2.0 brought two brothers together in ways most never thought possible, this project is about bring complete strangers together in way never thought possible. It is about making friendships and bonds that would otherwise not have existed before this exciting new way of communication. Technology is behind this new way, but it is the human side of the project that makes it interesting and creates those bonds.
