Namaste Thomas Nevisoul, Delighted to have you as a friend over at JoriAcharya's 'flow arts history channel'. To have your acknowledgement is very important , being one of the foremost (if not 'the' foremost!) 'Acharyas' of modern fire flow, I hope this is seen as a stamp of approval that the modern fire flow arts in actual fact has developed from ancient roots in the religious fire rituals of Ancient India ( where traditional fire flow arts still exists to this day). Unfortunately it is almost being 'written out of history' with the invalid deduction that the flow arts is exclusively of polynesian / NZ origin. India has a rich heritage of fire dancing & in the old days with the spread of Hindu/Buddhist/Animist traditions over the Indo-Pacific region, we are talking from Madagaskar in Africa to Hawaii in the Pacific plus everywhere in between java, bali, taiwan,Aotearoa etc...this was in the sphere of influence of fire dancing traditions of India ~~ Once again thank you ,Peace & Shanti

Maybe its just the way my chains are shaped, but they tend to leave gaps when I try to wrap them and then slide and close the gap and it jerks the poi. The way my chains are shaped also makes them slide off my hand when I try to do the spiral wrap around my hands.
