G'day youtubers, Nervous Neuron here!~

I'm an asexual... thing from Victoria, Australia, who likes to yap on youtube sometimes. My videos include a wide range of topics, from educational 'Issues in Neuroscience' videos to your everyday typical vlog rambler. So sorry to disappoint, I'm only half a *guru. Or maybe a quarter. Or maybe... whatever.

I am interested in reducing the stigma surrounding neurological conditions, and accepting psychiatric conditions as brain illnesses, as I'm a naturalist. I believe in physical evidence and reasoned logic.

As for my research interests, I have many, but here are some:
~ The structure and function of the amygdala
~Oxytocin and social cognition
~ Neuroendochrinology of stress
~ Psychiatry (mood and anxiety disorders)
~ Animal welfare
~ Neurodiversity

I'm also interested in various philosophy topics, such as theism and ethics. I'm interested in the supernatural. I'm a hopeful skeptic - I really wish some of that stuff is real and I'm looking for evidence. I have yet to find something to make me believe.

I have made numerous videos on those interests, which are vaguely sorted into playlists.

Not only am I a science geek, but a gaming nerd too. I like to play World of Warcraft, but do own several other MMOs which I don't all play at once. I play PC games mainly, but I love Nintendo's hand helds.
