Young Architects 2008: Resonance --- Founded in 1881, The Architectural League of New York is an independent forum for the presentation and discussion of creative and intellectual work in architecture, urbanism, and related design disciplines. Since its inception in 1981, the Architectural League's Young Architects Forum has provided many of the leading talents of succeeding new generations of architects and designers a valuable opportunity to present their work and ideas.
An exhibition of work by the winners, including Toronto's RVTR, will open to the public May 8th at the Urban Center, 457 Madison Avenue, New York City, and will remain on display through July. Kathy Velikov and Geoffrey Thün will present their work at the Young Architects Forum on May 8.
"Operational Practices" is one of four videos featured in RVTR's exhibition.
Oh my god. So, i'm in Italy right now, with Beatrice Broscoli. I've been making stop frame videos to record my experiences here, and well, it turns out that they're nearly identical to ones you've made. I'm even researching the Trevi Fountain and had a story lined up just like yours.
I couldn't believe it. Just wanted to let you know this.
