Dr. Jim Woodward is the chancellor of North Carolina State University, and brings decades of administrative experience and leadership to the university.

Woodward, who began work at NC State on June 9, 2009, previously served as the chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1989 to 2005.

North Carolina State University conferred more than 4,000 degrees on graduating students during its spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 9, in the RBC Center in Raleigh.

Each year, more than 6,400 new graduates join the Wolfpack family of alumni. Collectively, the 156,300 NC State alumni represent a diverse community of achievers located throughout the world.
