Schaler is also author of the hip & inspiring TRAVEL THERAPY book & is a sought after multi-media writer published in everything from The New Yorker to Travel+Leisure.

Schaler currently specializes as a lifestyle and travel host & correspondent but she has also worked in "hard news" as a correspondent for CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight ( See Video Here) and as a reporter/anchor for the NBC station in Boston, FOX in Dallas and ABC in Phoenix.

Schaler has written, reported and produced two war zone documentaries where she was embedded with military units. Her first half hour report looked at the peacekeeping efforts in Bosnia.

Her second one-hour documentary, in 2007, gave an exclusive look inside a combat apache helicopter unit based on the Afghanistan/Pakistan border.

Schaler is also the founder and creator of the TRAVEL THERAPY website (www.traveltherapytrips.com) and author of the TRAVEL THERAPY book released April 2009!
