Also how did you put the song into standard tuning? Are you playing the guitar part and using andy's video or are you using some type of program?

Hey I just came across your Andy Mckee's "Heather's Song" in Standard tuning and I am wondering if you still play the same chord structures as shown on Andy's video or will it only work if you tuning to the weird tuning he uses? This maybe a stupid question but I really want to learn the song and I've heard that tuning a less expensive guitar in the tuning that Andy uses for this song can damage the guitar. Hope you understand my question. Thanks and please let me know. Jake
