Built in 1963 I served the Australian Lighthouse Service in the maintenance of all manned lighthouses and coastal navigational aids around the Australian Coastline.

I was built as a mini-liner, with first class passenger accommodation necessary to carry technicians, relief lighthouse crews, their families and officials for quite prolonged periods.

My unique design also enabled deep sea seabed surveying, coastal research and ecological surveys to be carried out around the Australian Coast.

I am currently undergoing restoration whilst moored at The Old Coal Wharf, Balls Head Drive, Waverton in North Sydney.
