Used my tax return to order a set of these in 18x9 black machined for my black 2003 Steeda-ized GT to replace the factory option, out of production 99 polished Cobra rims that were on it when I bought the car brand new Feb 19, 2003. Can't wait to get these puppies mounted up! Would have gone with the bigger width in the rear, but the rubber was prohibitively expensive (at $100+ more per tire - already shelling out $250 for the 9s - Yokohoma S-drives). Will get some pictures snapped after!

My DE has the same issue with the bottom section not opening on the right side. I thought I broke something, but seeing this makes me think it might be a molding issue.

The transparent color of the psychoframe was a real letdown to me. I had 4 preordered with HLJ but cancelled all but 1 after pics of the red, instead of the clear psychoframe were released. I had been planning on doing at least 1 Banshee and 3 on the FA Unicorn. Oh well, at least the KO companies have my back! But yeah, after I got the one and looked at the sprues I realized Bandai's going to release a MG Banshee Norn for Ep 7...

Haha, this made me laugh. Theists dread death because they fear they weren't "good enough" in the eyes of their god during life. Me, I have no fear of death (or anything else - except yogurt and telephones) because I know it's a natural part of life, and EVERYONE dies. I'm one of those "forever alone" types, especially being that I live in the bible belt.

I'm glad you're expanding your horizons :) While my "modelling" has mostly been Gundam the last 10 years, I've recently been expanding into almost all of the other aspects of the hobby. I currently have 3 cars, a motorcycle, and a couple of airplanes in progress, as well as a few Gundam kits. The great thing is that there's a lot of carryover between each genre as far as skills needed (glossy paint apps for cars, some gundams, etc and camo for UC Gundams and tanks and planes).

Looks pretty awesome. It's 1/144, right? Can't wait to see it built! I'd love to get one, but I'm trying to stay with just MGs unless there's something that won't come out in HG (such as the Dendrobium and METEOR), and the suits that go along with them. RGs are pretty badass, too.

Prime, dark kits on a dark background make my eyes hurt! Please, no more! I think it's sad that the Banshee OVA accessories are better than even the MG in terms of transformation and articulation ability.

I am disappoint in the Rezel Type C in that you can't build the two different packs separately; too many parts in common. Would have loved to give one of the packs to my original MG Rezel and display both at the same time. And man, those upper arms STILL bother me; the entire rest of the kit is squarish, but then the completely round upper arms. The Iron Man Rezel is awesome; maybe turn the Type C into War Machine?

You know, I've always liked the proportions of the OYW Gundam much more than the 2.0, though I like everything else about the 2.0. Also, didn't the Musha Gundam use the 1.5 legs too?

Keroro is related to Gundam only in that Bandai produces the kits, and Keroro is obsessed with Gunpla in the show. Thank you for the review; we don't have enough Keropla stuff on Youtube! If I can get a camera worth anything, I'll do up reviews of all of the Keroro Robo kits.

Ah, good ol beginning of the century MGs. The way these Patlabors build up reminds me so much of the MG Alex (which desperately needs a 2.0!) Lots of screws and the rubber joints. Good times.

Thanks for the review, Alan. I've been on the fence for a while about ordering some of this paint, in a move to switch from Tamiya acrylics to lacquer. Initially, the costs seem better than Mr Color stuff, as long as you buy enough to minimize the $20 shipping charge. If the quality of the paint isn't there, though, it won't be worth it. I guess I'm going to be going with Mr Color all the way, now.

For people to worship something that doesn't, is, IMO, unnatural. So, I was sad that I couldn't spend time with her any more, I was relieved that she was no longer in pain. I didn't want to try and prolong her life anymore to spend more time with her, since I don't see myself as a selfish person; I was glad when she was gone, to be quite honest, because she wasn't hurting any more.

Ever think of decanting the spray cans, especially primer? I have some of the small spray cans that I decanted, and once you do that it'll go for a long time. And that fin-funnel set was NOT cheap - got mine for $56 shipped... yuck. I went with it instead of a second MG Nu Ver Ka because of the effect parts. looking forward to seeing your ball; love a well-lit and painted MG Ball. I was never impressed with the Xuron cutters; Tamiya $35 for me all the way :)

SW: Ep 1 has one redeeming quality: The soundtrack. Specifically, one track: Duel of the Fates, the song that plays during the battle with Darth Maul.

The ver ka Sinaju didn't come with waterslides. Bandai didn't start including waterslides until the Nu Ver Ka, I just checked in my MG Sinanju Ver Ka box, where the sticker sheets and dry transfers are still sealed in their plastic baggy. Nope, no waterslides.

Seeing that you forgot to take off one of the mounting posts for the rocket packs, I'm thinking you can mix/match the two packs, amirite? Heck, looks like you can even have the two inner rocket packs on the gun unit. Neato.

Daaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that Colonel is NICE Loving the flag decal - not too sure about Lady Liberty. Loving the rims, too. If it's a currently available Revell/Monogram kit, you can request the missing parts from their website, FYI.

Prime, the Sinanju was designed by Anaheim Electronics, which by this point was doing both Feddie AND Zeon suits, so they incorporated designs from both sides. Just in case you wanted an explanation of the rounded head with the angles :) But I do tend to agree with you; the head just doesn't fit the design. I'm not a huge fan of the chest vents either. The phrase that keeps popping in my head is "Gundam Pasties".

I have the first leather pouch you showed, and the last one. I wish I could find one that is a combination of both, as both have things that annoy the hell out of me. The first one, the brown one with the snap, I like how the loop is flush, but I always find the snap popping off, especially if I have it on when I get in/out of my car. The last one, I really enjoy, except I wish the belt loop was flush like the first one. Would also like it in brown as well as black to match my belt.

I'm pretty disappointed that Bandai didn't do the Perfect Strike in RG. Here's hoping we get one in the future... Hated the proportions of the HG 1/144s, but the RG was "perfect" for me ;)

I've built the HGUC Dendrobium. It's... pretty massive. Took about a month. It's HEAVY!!! Worth it, if you can swing the cost, IMO. While the build quality isn't quite up to the current stuff (the weapons containers have issues with screw threads stripping, and requiring almost too much force for some of the main body metal parts), it's still an awesome piece.

Dave, you ought to look into the Honda cruisers. I did have for a while a VTX 1300C. VERY comfortable bike, had some nice power! Haven't got to take a test ride on the newer ones, but I'm thinking of it, just because of the fuel injection...

Loving the concept :) Couple of comments: the battery cables seem to be too large of diameter (they seem to be the same size as your radiator hoses), for the clear, use some Pledge w/Future Shine (or just Future as it's called); dip them in it then set on a paper towel to wick away excess. You could even use it to attach the windshields. The red on the seats looks a bit rough; maybe try a wash to even it out?

Gotta love hobby lobby's clearance aisle. Got me the Shelby GT500 KR for $9 a month or so back; all the parts appear to be there and sealed in their baggies; the box just had a nice hole tore in the top.
