Verily all praise belongs to Allâh, we praise Him, seek His Aid and His Forgiveness. Whomsoever Allâh guides there is none to misguide and whomsoever Allâh misguides there is none to guide. I testify that there is no one or no deity deserving worship except Allâh alone without any partners and I testify that Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam is His servant and His Messenger.

May Allâh, the Exalted, bestow His peace and blessings on the final Prophet Muhammad, upon his good and pure family, and upon all of his noble companions.

O you who believe! Fear Allâh (by doing all that He ordered and abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared, and die not except in the state of Islâm(as Muslims with complete submission to Allâh)
(Qur'ân 3:102)

O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam) and from him He created his wife, and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allâh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights) and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allâh is ever an All Watcher over you
(Qur'ân 4:1).

O you who believe ! Keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth, He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great success
(Qur'ân 33:70-71).

Verily the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. The most evil of matters are those which are newly invented, every novelty is an innovation and every innovation is in the Fire.

And be not of al-mushrikoon (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah, polytheists, idolaters, etc), of those who split up their religion (i.e., who left the true Islamic monotheism), and became sects, [i.e., they invented new things in the religion (bidah) and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.
(Qur'ân 30:31-32)

And do not follow that of which you do not have knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - [you] will be asked about all of those.
(Qur'ân 17:36)

On the authority of Ibn Mas'ud ( radiallaahu 'anhu ) who said that the Messenger of Allah ( sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) said:
The two feet of the son of Adam will not move from near his Lord on the day of Judgement until he is asked about five (matters) about his life - how he spent it; about his youth - how he took care of it; about his wealth - how he earned it; and where he spent it and about that which he acted upon from the knowledge he acquired.


"O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray".

Allah is the only, the individual and the unique creator of the whole known and unknown universe (tawheed). He has sent us prophets and books for guidance and his signs are obvious in our universe. This knowledge (ilm) is the basis of wisdom. Wisdom is only possible through sensual, emotional and reasonable understanding (aql) and leads to certainty (yaqeen). Certainty in the existence of Allah is the only possible defence against trials and it is the essence of belief (iman). Only with certainty (yaqeen) there can be effective practice of Islam and long-lasting invitation to embracing it (dawah). Blind faith is no faith, because it can be shaken at any time and by anyone.
