This is my rendition of Going to California from Led Zeppelin IV (The album with Stairway to Heaven on it LOL) Going to California is also one of my favorite songs by Led Zeppelin. The Challenge for this song was that the studio version is loaded with overdubs of both guitar and mandolin. So to distill this song down to one instruments I relied less on the loop station and more on the use of Drop D tuning (Tuning the low E string down to a D) I only use the loop station to enable the instrumental section at the beginning and the end of the song all the rest is just solo guitar and voice. I have stayed fairly faithful to the vocal melody with only a few minor variations.
