Marla Leigh Goldstein

Marla Leigh's music takes you on a unforgettable journey through the magical world of percussion. Her musicconsists of percussion instruments from India, Middle East and Africa , mixed with flutes, lutes and other funky "toots". Marla is currently working on her debut album, which will feature music from an upcoming journey to North Africa and the Middle East

Marla has traveled around the world performing (with her ensemble and other groups), and teaching (at retreats and clinics). She has released, "Time Zone", an instructional DVD for Frame drums and Darabuka. Marla received a MFA from Calarts and has studied with percussion geniuses: John Bergamo, Glen Velez, Swapan Chaudruhi, Ladzekpo brothers and Randy Gloss.
