i dynoed mine before and after the turbo. before i was making 123 hp and 255 ftlbs to the rear wheels. same dyno and turbo added i made 161 hp and 320 ftlbs.

the is an oil pressure gauge threaded right into the port. was reading 45 lbs at idle and 65-70 lbs at around 1500 rpm.

well it started life as a 2wd, so i did 4x4 swap, welded rear spiders, 205 tcase. no lift and 35's. that truck is long gone now, parts still live on. need to get vids of the new diesel i built. same style truck, ALOT different.

they are only 1/2 in diameter. sleaves help them alot. finally some companies have started making 1 inch tierods.

without a turbo it will get hotter then without a turbo. get a gauge on it. i bet u are running way hot. mox the pump can be turned up without a turbo safely is 1/6th. any more and they heat up. mine went from n/a to turbo and i saw a 200-300 degree drop in temps.

i have a custom lift. it is using all stock springs from all different year fords from 83-94. i love the idi fords, simple and cheap to repair and decent power even if they are N/A. i recently turboed mine so has good power now for a 86 diesel. my new 6.9 is an 86, hope to get vids of that one up...
