I totally agree with Grimmjowjaguarjack (what kind of messed up name is this anyway? o_O), physical VS digital distribution and DLC wouldf make a great topic.
Especially DLC. Dragon Age Origins for example will have DLC avaible right at launch. I mena, there is no reason, that stuff should not be on the DVD. If they couldn't make it in time to integrate it into the game, then they could have packed the executables somewhere on the DVD. Oh, talking of DA:O, there will also be a code, which will allow players to download some DLC for free, but it only works once. So the value of the game will definitely be lower, when resold, and I bet my behind, that is exacltly, what EA wants to accomplish. Used games market is also a good matter of discussion considering this topic (for example GameStops boycott of the PSP Go). Sure, the publishers don't earn anything, but on the other hand, look at used cars. No car manufacturer is willingly sabotaging the used car market.
