The holidays have arrived, and Ricky is house sitting for his favorite thirty-something couple when he learns that they are planning to get a "new toy for Christmas." Left alone to wallow in his loneliness as his lovers live it up someplace far away, Ricky soon begins sliding down a slippery slope of hard drugs, internet hookups, and anonymous sex. Just as Ricky is about to end it all, however, the encroaching darkness is brilliantly lit up by the thousand watt smile of a beautiful college boy named Blake. Blake is everything that Ricky could ever want in a man, and it isn't long before the one-time boy toy is pondering a wonderful new life with a lover he can truly identify with.
