Hi everyone,

Well, we're now well into Stage 2 of the competition, and the deadline for the Stage 2 participants to submit their entries has been and gone.

Check out their entries in the Favourites folder. The Top 20 videos from Stage 1 have been moved into their own playlist.

We'll be posting the winning video up on the channel in the next few days, so keep an eye out!

Hi everyone,

Wow......we can't believe how quickly the end of phase 1 has come around!
Thanks so much for all your collective efforts, we've certainly had a load of fun running this competition so far and we're really impressed with you.

But.......now the really fun bit starts for some of you! Keep an eye out over the next few days, we'll be selecting the 20 finalists and contacting them individually. Once we have done that, we'll be moving all non-finalist entries into the Playlists section, leaving the 20 finalists in the Favourites section.

Those 20 will be provided with a MOTO Z10 handset, on which to film their phase 2 entry.

Thanks again to everyone!

The DirectorME Team.

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Motorola's DirectorME competition.

The competition is extremely easy to enter. Just pick a 'logline' from the list on our competition page ('logline' being film industry speak for a one-sentence summary of a film's plot. For example, Alien's original logline was "Jaws in space") and use it to form the basis for a short film of no more than 90 seconds in length. As long as they relate to the logline, films can feature any subject matter the creator chooses (subject to the rules below): funny, emotive, thought-provoking or slapstick, all are welcome. And entries won't be judged on production value -- they can be as rough and ready as the creator likes.

Once you're happy with your film, upload it to our 'DirectorME' Group.

For full details of the loglines, all the rules and to complete your entry, form, click on the banner at the top of this page to be directed to the competition website.

Good luck, we're all film makers now!

The DirectorME team.
