[PLEASE VISIT: http://www.the-ev...
And he's on the fringe, on the brink of something unprecedented but he can never quite make contact; his reach exceeds his grasp. He's a slave to their disbelief, to the ones that damn him for succeeding past them and they prevent him from meeting the center of his undefended heart. They throw sand on the fire and try to stifle quakes of reason. They don't see his movement as an evocative journey of the soul, they see it as something foreign, maybe even grotesque. But as they say, the truth hurts...
They don't get it so they are rash with their CHAINS, they bound all who threaten to dismantle their concepts and ideals. They are weak and unfeeling. He has no choice but to run and take the stage, thrust himself into the surge, the plunder, to rise and toil. Ignorant of the consequences, the warping of his body and mind... he has to be because he is the dream and must perpetuate it. And he will break if he has to, regenerators and chasers of dreams know that's part of the ride into transcendence. You can cower in the corner and hide your eyes from what is real, or you can give your eye to the stage of truth, awaken your inspiration, stir your senses and bend your ear to the inner trimmings of the soul...
Artists may guide us but only you can let the message and meaning in and create the fragile balance between you and your soul, Heaven and Earth, your heart and the hearts of others...
His is an opportunity to give and take, ours is an opportunity to learn and receive. So who is really the slave? That which 'they' try to oppress, or that which ceases their own opportunity to progress by stopping an enlightened teacher...?
Knowledge is elementary. We are all teachers. None of us have the same perspective so we all have something to give based on experience. Why is it that so many people are quick to argue that? They'd make you submit before they open their minds, so afraid of what they don't know they cling to their guns and feign strength. But the strong do not stay fastened to their 'safe' modes, they wander into open avenues of mind not knowing what to expect, except to be delivered from what they know. You do no one favors by closing the door of your mind. I have so much bloody contempt for anyone who limits someone/something that it permeates through everything. And yet part of me knows without struggle there would be no significance in emergence.
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning..." - Frederick Douglass **
Yes and the quick flashes of light that sequence frame to frame represent flashes of mind and memory, feelings and conviction... how easily a change of mind can be made but how quickly it can be forgotten. I thought of driving down a highway and watching the lights of the cars run by while making this, it reminded me of the fleeting and violent nature of life and people in general. Minute to minute we slay and reconstruct to survive...
Hell, this year was tumultuous, I had a very fierce wind at my back when I made this video. It told me to throw open the curtains and just scream out, "THIS IS ME and I WILL do everything according to how my conscience dictates because eternity is NOW!" It was quite possibly my quarter life crisis! ;D At any rate this video is an answer to people who have tried to stop me and for anyone who struggles to 'break the chains', whether they be emotional or physical. It's also for the naive little girls that reside in some fans; who need to be put in their place...
He's not ours, he never will be... But I'm sure Kyo thanks you for your opposition... I need an excuse to be defiant from time to time so I don't completely throw myself into passivity ne?! Not ready to be an anarchist but I will conspire against fascists via media just like Kyo's poetry attempts to conspire against my sanity! ;D Song by The Evolutionaries.
And do let me know how your mind works and if you agree with my concepts or not... I love discourse, BRING IT ON BIOTCHES! XD
