Come with me as I search out and explore old mines, cabins and ghost towns in the deserts of California and Nevada. Using my 1978 Blazer four wheel drive vehicle we will travel the dusty roads of years gone by and see artifacts left undisturbed for over a hundred years.
Follow along as I restore a 1958 Deville travel trailer. This vintage trailer was found in the back lot of a private party out in the sticks. I paid $150 for it and only had to put air in the tires and get it out of there.
In this series I will show you how to strip the aluminum off of a typical canned ham trailer in order to replace interior panels. Being that this is how they are built, it is the only real way to unbuild them and replace the birch paneling.
