More than 1 billion people in 120 developing countries - or over 15% of the world's population - have no official record of their lives. Being uncounted means being overlooked: for jobs, for education, for health care.

Mobile Metrix assists these "invisible poor" by gathering data that shares their reality with the world. We employ and train young people from their own communities to survey door-to-door, gathering demographic data using handheld computers. Our work bridges invisible communities with governments, NGOs, and private companies that can meet their needs.

Accurate data is the first step to solving any social problem. It directs resources and drives change.
