Nufflebunny, thank you for being respectful to Michael. The only flaw in your logic is that you assume that he is saying that 9-11 was caused by the government. What Michael is saying is that the government used 9-11 as an excuse to do terrible things to the American people. And please don't forget that 9-11 is small compared to the bombs that dropped BEFORE and after 9-11. Thank you once again for being Civil in your comment. You are the first republican supporter I've met that is civil when they try to slam someone down.

And moving to another country wouldn't stop your country's absurdly high murder rate...or end the pointless war in Iraq...or shut down Guantanamo Bay...or fix the pathetic health-care system.

Where did you get this idea that 9/11 was a false-flag operation performed by the government against itself? The argument that an attack was staged in order to go into Iraq for some oil holds very little water. Furthermore, too many people in a chain of command would be needed to know about this "covert mission" for it to be covert, and next to every person in the government and military has a conscious. Even the ones who commit horrid acts against innocents express regret. Does that make them unaccountable for their actions? Absolutely not, but it shows that they have a conscious.
I respect that you have a right to free speech. I don't agree with it, but I do respect that you have that right. But,until you have undeniable proof such as orders from the president to pilots to crash planes into buildings or have the buildings rigged with explosives 9/11 conspiracy theories are just that, only theories.

I met you at Interlochen, MI back in the summer of 2004. I was just a student, and we talked about filmmaking for a bit (and a pestered you for an autograph. Sorry about that, but I'm proud to have it on display in my room, as you are one of my favorite filmmakers). I have been working on my own films since your kind advice.
