"pirate bird" is an indain ringneck who lost his eye due to a respiratory infection. We covered just a fraction of his vet costs to acquire him, at $250. I borrowed all of the money for him and his new toys and perches from my summer school fund. we're asking that if you feel led to support the "pirate bird" fund that you send a donation. Any amount, even a dollar, would help with his vet costs (higher than those of a bird with both eyes) and his insurance, plus reimbursing the summer school fund.
