Hey-Thank you for the interest/comments on Moody River. We will post an up-close video of the fingering the next time we have the camera out. We got the Red Foley info from Doc Watson, which is also where I learned my version of the song (including the picking). Doc said (in a concert) that Pat Boone got the song from his daddy-in-law, Red Foley. I took that to mean that Foley wrote it. Doc may have meant only that Foley brought the song to Boone's attention. I don't know.
