June 2, 2007. Winds were around 10 MPH steady just before launch on this second flight of the day. Shortly after takeoff the winds increased to around 15 with gusts to 20. The first landing attempt cross-runway into the wind was aborted when it touched down too long. The second successful attempt was with the wind direction at very nearly 90 degrees to the runway. The relief of my camera operator is evidenced by her comment "Let's don't do that again." which is barely audible just after the touchdown.
