FAQs:
#1: Q: What software do you use?
A: I use MonkeyJam (free, downloadable) to film and Sony Vegas 5 to edit.
#2: Q: Where do you get all your Legos?
A: I used to collect them in my youth, but now I use them to make the movies you see here. I still buy a set now and then.
#3: Q: How many frames per second do you use? A: 15 fps. Not the best, not the worst.
#4: Q: Are you going to make Indiana Jones movies?
A: No.
#5: Q: How do you get the banners at the top of your page and on videos?
A: YouTube invited me to be a YouTube partner. To apply, go to youtube(dot)com/partners. It's not easy to get in, though. This is also how you get a video to autoplay on your channel.
#6: Q: Will you advertise for my channel/site/vids/contest on your page?
A: No. If you want to increase your views, please distribute your videos yourself. Don't depend on others to do it for you.
#7: Q: Will you sell/give me your Legos?
A: You've got to be kidding!
#8: Q: Will you send me Star Wars music (or any other kind, for that matter)?
A: No. Not only did I have to fork over a bunch of money for the soundtracks, but filesharing copyrighted music is illegal in most countries.
#9: Q: Will you send me your sound effects?
A: Yes! Just go to tinyurl.com/5gjnnn and download them.
#10: Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: A Panasonic 3CCD digital palmcorder; it's pretty pricey.
#11: Q: How do you do those effects?
A: Usually, spugesdu kindly volunteers to do my effects. I don't know how he does them though.
#12: Q: Will you watch/rate/comment my video and/or give me advice?
A: Sorry, I have too many other things to do. If enough people spent the amount of time asking me this just looking up a stop-motion tutorial, I'd have approximately 30% more space in my inbox, and their videos would be about that much better.
#13: Q: Can I be a voice in one of your movies/Solitary?
A: I don't need any more voices right now, but if you'd like to be a specific character or type of character in the future, you can make a sample video with voice samples (such as a Yoda impression, a stormtrooper voice, or your own idea for a cool character) and let me know.
#14: Q: Will you do a voice in one of my movies?
A: Send me the line(s) and we'll see. Unlikely though because I have a lot to do and my mic is picky about when it will work.
