The Millers Creek Film Festival is an annual contest featuring short films, videos and public service announcements that show the human connection to the Huron River, its creeks, streams or lakes.

Winning entries are awarded cash prizes and are premiered at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor at a gala public screening each March.

There are three Festival categories: a short (under five-minutes) film or video for both school-age (K-12) and adult filmmakers, and a 30-second public service announcement (PSA).

The Festival seeks engaging and entertaining live action, animation, biography, documentary, musical films or videos and PSAs.

The Millers Creek Film Festival supports the public outreach efforts of the Huron River Watershed Council, a local environmental organization that works to protect the river through education, technical assistance, stream monitoring and conservation efforts.
