This is my cover of Rocket Queen by Guns N' Roses, the last song in the "Appetite for Destruction" album (1987).
I used a backing track with bass, drums, and vocals, I play all of the guitar work in this cover. The only thing that is not in my cover is the famous moaning of that girl that was having sex with Axl. Too bad my girl couldnt help me on recording it for the cover xD... I didnt get lucky... too bad.
Thanks for watching and rating!

More Info I recorded this video, as usual, just using my effects pedal (Zoom G2.1u) connected directly to the pc. I used 4 different patches for the main guitar (bottom Les Paul), one patch for rhythm during the song, another for the slide solo, another for the clean picking part, and another for the outro solo. So it was really hard to get that video because of the changes between patches.
About my arrangement. This song was recorded in the classic GnR way. Talking about guitars, Izzy is always on the left channel, and Slash is always on the right channel. Both playing rhythm. When the song is ready, Slash takes care of other licks and solos, he takes his time to record these crucial parts of the song. Normally, these important parts are in the center of the audio. If you listen to the original song, thats why there are 3 guitars during the slide solo and outro solo. I based my video on a main guitar (bottom les paul), and I play with it all of slash's most important stuff in this song, including solos. This guitar sounds on the right channel, but when a solo starts this guitar changes to center channel and a third guitar must appear (another les paul) to play on the right channel. Izzy's guitar is less complicated, its always on the left channel and its playing is a single line since the beginning to the end, just like in the original song.

As usual, I used my Zoom G2.1u effects pedal, so these are the settings for the patches I made for this cover:
