Typically associated with the Blues and Roots movement and acoustic in nature Mike De Velta's intoxicating compositions and performances are constantly on the move. A rich showcase of modern folk,blues and a hint of the eastern expressed through the shimmering and delightful tones of lap slide, ukulele and acoustic guitars.
Apart from my part time career in writing and performing I also produce my own work in my home studio. My latest self produced album "Frontline"features acoustic and electric guitars, lap steel, harmonica, bass, vocals and keyboards. Drums and percussion are eloquently played by Dean Wuksta, an earlier member of the popular Western Australian outfit the Blue Shaddy Band.
