Update September 8:
Few days ago I was in an accident. I was hit by a van, almost head on. I was wearing a snell appoved helmet, mesh icon jacket with armor, joe rocket gloves that cover wrists, combat boots, and regular pants. Despite the collision which destroyed the bike and me breaking the van's windshield and them towing yhe van away as well, my real injury was breaking my wrist. My legs are injured buy not broken.

To those of you wanting to start riding, please be careful and wear gear. You never know when something may happen.
To those who already ride, gear is essential. I have 17,000 miles of experience. 100,000 miles experience will not stop a car from breaking bones if you are hit.

Do I want to ride again? Oh yes. Maybe in a year when I have arm strength back.
