A restobar owner Dr. Suhas Awchat of Diva Maharashtracha writes a letter to Rajesh Tope Minister of Higher and Technical Education and have decided to file a petition in the court to make regional Maharashtrian cuisine as a compulsory subject, the institutes believe it is sensible to do such only when there is scope for their students having number of outlets providing Marathi cuisine. However, few Marathi dishes are taught in the second year of the degree course in a subject food production.
