Built back in 2005 this was a prototype for a fun online flyin race, due to size and time restraints, this Island has become a great scenery package you can find at X-Plane.org http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=169 1.0 initial release of track, rules, parts. 11212k5-msl
2.0 Looping edition, added 'Blue course' More scenery objects, including the 'loop-de-loop!' Have a blast people! 11252k5-msl
2.1 Final Draft rev_3. Updated the rules, included dads pilot object, re-submitted to the .Org 11282k5-msl
2.4 Nothing is final! :) Updated the Island by adding another huge chunk: Flat Top Canyon. Extra features of this added island include: Multiple race tracks, (5) of them plus you can race the courses in reverse for added challenge! Here is the skinny on the tracks, in no particular order:
When ever you see a 'double' pylon set, this means either a fork or ending set. You will get the hang of it, just go easy the first few times.
Blue course- (44miles) A basic canyon section for intermediate pilots. lots of sharp bends and drops, so watch out!
Green course- (78miles)A basic perimeter section with nice beaches and cliffs to dodge. this course is rather tricky in some situations.
Yellow course- (44miles)This is very difficult in some spots, take extra time to memorize the course, you will need the help.
Red course- (54miles)The hardest of the bunch, only because you MUST use brakes for some tight corners, not to mention the crazy elevation changes. Barrel roll experience is a needed plus for this course. other than the hard parts, it is also a fast course.
Perimeter course- (200miles?) The fastest, longest, and the most boring. this is a HUGE Reno track, please use hypersonic planes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeDdSOxNIFI
