About Me:
****************************** *************************
LATEST:
The two support slots with Richard Shindell in Leiden and Stroud went great.
Am currently sorting out various video / audio clips.
****************************** *************************
This channel is home to some great acoustic music by Mark Wilderspin and Alex West who perform a mix of originals and covers spanning contemporary US singer writer material through to traditional Irish and English folk.
Our first album of originals is almost ready and it should be available soon. (Hear streaming audio at www.confoundry.co.uk )
We have also recorded some of some of our favorite covers for free distribution on YT and elsewhere.
2008 saw us visit Holland to play at the great QTUBE event at QBUS in Leiden conceived and admirably managed by Art and Sieb; be invited to some first rate acoustic venues in the south west of England; and we also sampled the amazing natural acoustics of the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff.
We are doing a lot more in 2009 and also expanding our geogrpahic horizons - we have already had requests to visit Liverpool and Edinburgh as well as numerous requests to visit the US.
To answer those who have asked about my guitars, I use three 12 string guitars. My main instrument is now a Martin D28-12 but I still still often use my 1969 EKO Ranger which I've had since new in 1970. I also have an Ovation Custom Legend which I've had since 2002. A good instrument but better for amplified performance.

No problem, it's really the best cover of Romeo and Juliet here on YT. ! Thank you for making it !.
