Founded in 2005, Merely Players is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation still in its infancy. We are dedicated to creating a member-driven theatrical community of artists of all backgrounds, ethnicities, ages and abilities to provide cultural enrichment through exposure of contemporary community theatre to new audiences.
Merely Players exists to produce great plays and musicals simply while fostering a love of theatre as an art form in future audiences. With an emphasis on content and interpretation, rather than cumbersome sets, lights and costumes, we seek to entertain audiences in non-traditional venues while providing alternative performance opportunities for many talented artists throughout the tri-state.
