In recognition of the strength of its nursing service and the overall quality of patient care, Mercy was the 134th hospital in the nation to be designated a Magnet hospital and in 2009 achieved re-designation as a Magnet hospital.
Mercy - Dubuque is the area's leading hospital, with the only Cardiology Center and Level II Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
