PoaFina is right- she was on the wrong lead and the horse gave her several warnings before rearing, maybe the rider just didnt listen. this is often the case with many horses; instead of the horse listening to you, why dont you try listening to the horse for a change?! also, please remember that the western saddle IS heavier than the English saddle, therefore it is not suitable for posting. how would YOU feel if you kept feeling constant weight, lightness, weight, lightness on YOUR back as somebody kept posting in an already heavy saddle?! i think it would be pretty confusing. i hope these critiques have helped you become a better horsewoman and put ur horse before anything else. from now on plz do a SITTING TROT in a western saddle, as this is the correct way to trot while riding western.

wow i WAS going to say something but i think PoaFina summed it all up quite nicely. but one thing they didnt get too, she was posting her fat ass doing western the idiot fucking cant ride, poor horse was probably in pain

the horse was on the canter lead and was unbalanced around the corner that's why she did it. She should have been brought back to trot straight away when she struck off.

Ok, it really annoys me when someone says "(insert horse name here) rearing/bucking/bolting/etc. to try to throw (insert person name here) off." because that is never the case. On that video, it seems that there was a rider that was much too heavy for that horse, probably hurting his back, bouncing the horse around and running him into barrels. She was also holding onto his mouth too much with that long-shanked bit. And whats more, she was making him canter around tight turns on the WRONG LEAD. The poor horse was probably hurting and unbalanced, and he reared because he was agravated at all of this. All of this combined COULD make a horse fall, and seriously injure it, so much that it may need to be put down. Try riding lessons and a bigger horse.

Everyone! I ride Hunter and many people pratice in western saddles. They post and everything with hunter gaits. Its fine
