Melaleuca announced Tuesday morning that it's breaking ground on a new manufacturing building. That means jobs both during construction and when it's complete. It will be built next to Melaleuca's Distribution Center just off Interstate 15 south of Idaho Falls.

Soon, the now bare land will become the 38 thousand square foot facility where all of the company's instant powder drinks will be made.
Melaleuca President and CEO Frank VanderSloot says Idaho Falls will become an internationally known hub for the manufacturing of instant drinks, which are among the top of the company's favorite products customers are buying.

Melaleuca Scam involving Lottery Checks

The BBB believes these mostly international con artists are now doing more legwork and research beforehand. The bureau got 10 calls last week from people who received lottery check scams associated with the name, Melaleuca.

People were informed to mail money fees before receiving winnings.
Donna Oe: "It bothers me to think of the number of people who will see that name Melaleuca on the check and assume that because of their good name that the check is legitimate. It is not."

Fortunately, no one lost any money in this scam attempt. Melaleuca will never be involved in anything unusual or out of character like a "lottery". If you ever receive any suspicious communication like this, especially if it is not from Melaleuca directly or involves replying to someone not at the Melaleuca home office, please call Melaleuca at (208) 522-0700 for confirmation.
