This is the final build for my little sister.
I named it, "Cityscape " since the lights remind me of the lights around the city at night. This is the prequel project for my upcoming i7 project which will be influenced by Ghost in the Shell. Stay tuned for more builds and cool tech reviews.
Total cost for project:
Paint and sand - $27
NewEgg parts - $530
Telling people that your 12 year old sister has a better computer than them: Priceless...well $557
Parts:
EVGA 730i
Patriot 2GB DDR2 800mhz
EVGA GTS250 512mb
Mushkin Enhanced 550W PSU
Western Digital 640GB Black Caviar
Logisys 120mm Blue LED fans
Zalman 110mm Quiet CPU heatsink
Generic DVD burner
Modded Modtek Case
So far, she's been playing Overlord 2, a PhysX heavy game, but with the onboard 9300 as a dedicated PhysX card, she can enjoy the game on the highest settings with smooth frames.
Remember, kids. If you want the best, you gotta get Intel and Nvidia, no other brand can give you the satisfaction you desire.
