Formed in late 2002, Meem Music & Audio is a record and spoken word label based in London and the Midlands, with branches in the United States, and Canada. Meem Music & Audio seeks to foster and showcase talented nasheed artists in the West, to produce classic books on audio, and to develop and produce lecture series on relevent, contemporary issues. Quality is important to us.
Our objective is to promote and develop this cultural facet of Islam and, given that ignorance is often the root cause of prejudice, seek to build bridges of understanding with those of other faiths or none. We are the first exclusive nasheed record label formed in the West and were formed by experienced media professionals who have many years experience in the nasheeds genre.
Meem also organises and co-operates with other organisations on key events that feature nasheeds. These include the popular Celebrate-Eid events held in the UK.
