About Me:
I'm Mike. I'm 27 years old, married, and I live in a suburb west of Cleveland. I'm currently enrolled at Cuyahoga Community College in their Digital Video and Film Making program. I hope to graduate with my associates degree in May 2010.
When I'm not in school or working, my wife and I like to travel and visit various amusement parks in the region, and we like to get out of the state as often as or bank accounts lets us. We spend most of our summer though, at Cedar Point Amusement Park, here in Ohio. As of November 1, 2008, I have clocked in 1,123 rides on my now 2nd favorite coaster, the Magnum XL-200. Yes I admit it. It is no longer my all time favorite coaster! I feel much better now...
Anyway, I'm using You Tube as a way for me to display the videos I have created during our trips. I'm very meticulous about my footage and editing. I don't like to use hand-held shots too often because I think they look like crap if you're trying to shoot a static shot. Hand-held is fine if you're following your subject, but please don't have your camera so far zoomed in that you can't control your shot. So if you do see a guy walking around an amusement park with a tripod and his Sony DV camera, it may be me. Don't be afraid to stop by and say hi.
