Pop songwriting with abstract and distinct production makes this young lads brand of indie pop stand out from the monotony of the music marketplace. He hails from a small town, although these days he resides in the big smoke that is Sydney town.

Within mcArtneys music, production is inquisitive. Vocals work as rhythms, organs act as basses, and real instruments are played...believe it or not. He gathers influences anywhere - from the Beach boys, to Jeff Buckley to Ryan Adams.
