7-14-2007 - for the sake of update,
(and to help with the search engines) I'm going to blog like a frog on a log, if you can relate... about the new videos up on myspace and youtube... "Stairway to Aliens," and "Faerie Tale." and blog about my music video's in general.

I have written quite a few songs over the years... so I'm not going to be a perfectionist when it comes to recording live video's. And I'm going to be real about what's up with me at the time,
and let you see what it might be like to catch one of my late night festival shows... you know, the ones in the tea palace at 2 a.m. where every bodies buzzed and irie...

...anyone who has ever caught one of those sets, can see that these video's are a fair representation of my live act. And speaking of that, I will be able to show off soon, and with the use of a looper and some other toys, I'll be able to bust out some drums, some electric guitar jams, some keyboard work, and some bass lines. I LOVE the acoustic guitar, and will never stop doing that, but it will be fun to post some piano solo's, some live flow over studio tracks, some improv jams, and even some artsy vids that I may do for some instrumental tracks that are piling up.

So, I'm going to work fast, and just crank 'em out. Video is still very new for me, and my tools are limited, and thus the work is amatur... cheesy imovie effects, etc...
but I trust that the basic musicality will shine through over time, and I hope that there will be moments of brilliance mixed with the flat vocals and buzzed notes that I vow to leave where they are,
...in the hopes of actually getting through the endless hours of visual music that are waiting to enter the iris of your eyes, and the colored tones of multiple instruments and voice
all mingled into your ears along with this horribly run on sentence that just never stops
and which actually serves as a great sort of metaphor related to
the AMOUNT of songs and music that I am itching to share with you all
over the next few years if I can ever stop writing this sentence
which seems now to have a mind of it's own even if it has no sense of proper writing
and probably even has incorrect grammar and perhaps some faulty spelling
but maybe it is harsh of me to judge this heroic sentence with such a
will to live that it just flows on like a river and at this point
really has nothing at all to do with the above mentioned videos but
I have lost all control of my fingers and am wondering if
there may ever be a period in sight not to mention a comma and if
perhaps this blog like a frog on a log could be eaten unexpectedly by a hungry dog named Rover
that was trapped in a bog and just broke free
having eaten only some mud and one bee for the last three weeks...

oh my god the sentence is OVER!
