The BluesTones are an all-female acappella group from James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, VA.
Formed in 1999, the award-winning BluesTones travel up and down the East Coast, performing at various well-known venues, and competing in international competitions. They're most recent album, Houses Kill. (2010), was nominated for two Contemporary Acappella Recording Awards including Best Female Collegiate Album. They are one of seven acappella groups that JMU has to offer.
The BluesTones are currently in the studio with Emerald City Productions recording their 6th album.
