Welcome to Ph4t3's Guide to making makes for Fortress 2 using Hammer with Source SDK. Thanks for the feedback from all the viewers. Noesys Interactive has picked up this series, and is going to publish these videos in full quality, with pop up comments, and way more depth on DVD and for download. I am reworking all the videos on here and fluffing them up and making them better for the release. The first disc will include Capture the Control Point too. hey love the videos. they got me started in hammer. but anyways, couple of questions. in one video you talked about making doors but could also make elevators. i have the door set up fine but how do i make it go up when a players stands on it. 2nd, how do you make non movable players that arent controlled by a person if u know what i mean. ive seen in some achievement maps and such rows of scouts that are just there to be killed. i cant figure out how to do this. thanks for the videos and the help!

I actually got a Degree in Graphic Arts. But I used 3dsMax in college. These programs are similar though. I'm subscribing. I need to learn more about these types of programs because my time learning it was limited.
