I guess I'm a old foggy stuck in the fifties.
I love the pre-rock music of that period. Plus the movies, TV and the cars to go with it. I have a good size record collection that I started over 50 years ago and I'm trying to put music of songs or artist that you may not know. Why put the big hits on, They all have been done by others. Some of the best recordings never made it to the charts.

Hi Mark, I love the songs you´ve posted! Growing up in Stuttgart, Germany (born 1938) I heard almost all of them on AFN. My brother-in-law`s favorite singer was Kay Starr (Wheel of fortune). My favorite song then was "Just walking in the rain". Later, after coming to the USA in 1957, I liked Pat Boone and Gale Storm. You don`t, by any chance, have "Echoes in the night" by her? ... Thanks for your rich channel!

Dear Mark, thanks for your comment on my story about Johnny Ray's Cry. I found Georgia Gibbs song and listen to her version of Cry. But I find Johnny's version better, but listen also to her other songs and discouvered that this lady has a wonderful voice. I didn't know her at all.
