About Me:

Start thinking about how YOU will take a stand against racism!

The 2009-2010 edition of the Racism. Stop It! National Video Competition has begun. This video competition mobilizes youths across Canada to rise up and take a stand against racism and is open to those aged 12 to 20.

As young people, you may have seen racism in your school or community. You can be a powerful voice against it: you can make a difference.

Tell us how you will take a stand against racism by creating a short video (45 to 60 seconds) expressing your thoughts on eliminating racism.

Winners will be chosen from two age categories (12-15 and 16-20).

Prizes this year include an all-expenses paid trip to Ottawa where the winners will receive an award at a ceremony held in their honour. Each winning school or organization will receive a Panasonic Digital Palmcorder® Multicam™ Camcorder.

The deadline to enter is Friday, January 15, 2010.

For more information about entering the Racism. Stop It! National Video Competition, please visit www.march21.gc.ca.
