Shame On AP regarding Lance Cpl. Joshua M. Bernard

Last Thursday, I was shocked to ...   more I see this as a simple question; does AP treat our US Military fallen and their families with dignity and respect?

Last Thursday, I was shocked to see the story on TV regarding this brave young fallen hero, while serving on behalf of our nation. I was even more surprised to see my viewership go up drastically on the episode featuring Lance Cpl. Joshua Bernard. As I the verified the data supplied by YT I found 6 postings displaying the image in questioned. I began my one-man patriotic crusade to have them removed. I managed to convince two posters to remove their videos. This week 6 more postings were uploaded and were immediately flagged until YouTube removed all of them

Thanks to YouTube and those of you who joined me in protesting these postings.

In the case of, Lance Cpl. Joshua Bernard and his family, many believe the Bernard family has earned the right to be treated with respect and dignity. The image in questioned is not dignified. Publishing and distributing the image, after the soldiers family specifically requested it not be published, is not respectful.

As a courtesy to his grief stricken mother, father, and sister please join me in a civil protest by contacting AP to recall and remove the image in questioned.

We as one nation, under God and indivisible; need to ensure that we fight on behalf of our fallen soldiers, as they valiantly fought on our behalf, and ensure they be given the dignity and respect they deserve.
